Lexington Home Mortgages
Mortgages usually came from the bank, and were almost always from government-sponsored agencies like Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. Increasingly over the past few years, this hasn’t necessarily been the norm. When many people with bad credit started trying to buy homes, it became clear that the traditional model was not necessarily working out. The traditional way for someone to obtain a good mortgage only worked for those with good credit scores. As the amount of people trying to buy homes with bad credit scores increased, so too did the need for a different type of mortgage.
